“MP3 music downloads from the Internet, an act that violates intellectual property rights, and it is illegal”: Guillermo Santos, El Tiempo

Cultural industry prefers to blame on illegal downloads for its crisis, without even considering the impact of the wide possibilities of choice on the internet. Mr Santos, a technology columnist in Colombia’s leading newspaper, endorses that logic, with a “clarification” that is not correct, it is vague and it even seems misplaced.
