Even though huge snow storms fell Saturday night and Sunday early morning on most of the Japanese archipelago, Colombian residents in Tokyo attended the march against FARC.
Low temperatures did not prevented around 60 Colombians, according to Spanish news agency EFE, to rally against terrorism and the rebels’ actions. Demonstrators wore white clothes and carried banners and Colombian flags. They walked quietly a few kilometres from Tōgō Gensui Kinen Kōen to Saint Ignatius church in Chiyoda-ku, where a mass in Spanish, praying for peace in Colombia, was held. According Juan Pablo Campos, coordinator of the march against FARC in Tokyo, there were not problems or incidents.

On the other hand, the Colombian colony in Australia, one of the most important in the diaspora, also rallied on Sunday afternoon. In Sydney, demonstrators met at Martin Place, where they had to deal with the rain, whereas in Brisbane, City Botanic Gardens were the meeting point.
