After the uproar caused by his alleged arrest because of after putting some tough questions to Ricardo Alarcón, the president of the Cuban parliament, Havana’s University of Information Sciences (UCI) student representative Eliécer Ávila appeared in a video posted in a Cuban government-supportive website claiming there was no such arrest and that there was “manipulation” from foreign media.
