About equinoXio english edition
equinoXio is an independent, non partisan Online Digital Magazine. Its English edition started 3 February 2008.
More than covering news we are interested in Conversation, in discussing issues and bringing together a range of voices and points of view as wide as possible. We are still a very young publication but our goal is to open doors and to deepen our reach.
equinoXio is published by a committed group of journalists, bloggers and citizen journalists mostly from Colombia, with some in the Diaspora. We are open to hear from authors, journalists, bloggers, and citizen journalists from all over the world who would like to join our staff and contribute to the conversation.
Our sister publication, equinoXio, started 8 May 2006, and has become an important reference point in Colombian blogosphere and citizen media. It was nominated in February 2007 to the CPB Award, the most important journalism award in Colombia, for the Internet category.
